New Resolutions... Will There Be A New You In 2022
Can you believe another year has come and gone already? It is the first day of January 2022 and as we look forward to the new year, we often ask ourselves what we want for ourselves and our loved ones in this new year. With the pandemic still looming, I think health and well-being are at the top of most of our lists, but besides those two what else do you want for 2022?
Honestly, I have not made a New Year's resolution in years. I find them pointless, and a pre-destined failure of sorts. Don't get me wrong, I am all about changing for the better and being the best me I can be. I don't know, maybe it is the rebel in me, but I refuse to make January 1st of any year my pivotal point.
My day of instant epiphany, self-discipline, and yes, self-righteousness. Why any particular day to change, to do better, to be better? Procrastination maybe? Just a few more cheat days, weeks, or months if you start on the first of the year?
Personally, I am always working on losing weight, getting healthier, giving more, learning more, and striving to be a better wife, mother, and friend. Would I have more success if I made a New Year's resolution? Not likely for me, but if it works for you go for it. I am currently in a highly motivated zone.
After I turned forty, I told myself that I would become the best version of myself yet. I am still a work in progress, but I have a few more years before my next big milestone. Hopefully, I will be a better version by my fiftieth birthday.
Here are the top resolutions people made for 2021. I am betting you will recognize yours.
Focus On Improvement Of Your Health
Prioritize Your Finances
Pursue A Dream Or Aspiration
Invest In Your Relationships
Take Care Of Your Mental Health
Live More Sustainably
Disconnect From Your Phone/Devices
Read More Books
Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Plan A Once In A Lifetime Trip
I think the 2021 list is a great place to start. The list encompasses all the things needed for having a happy and healthy life. The top resolutions on the list every year tend to be to lose weight and exercise more. After dealing with gyms being closed, being less social, and working from home for the last years, I think many could stand to move more.
What are your thoughts on making New Year's resolutions? Did you make a resolution? Do you always make resolutions? Statistics show 42% of people never make resolutions. Either way, I hope 2022 is your best year yet.

Holiday Movies To Watch Right Now On Netflix
Did someone say cheesy, heartwarming, holiday rom-coms? It is that time of year again and if you want easy, stress-free, commercial-free, and yes a Christmas romantic comedy full of cliches, do I have the list for you.
While I love me some Love Actually and have finally conceded that Die Hard is a Christmas movie, don’t judge me, you will find neither on this list. Just sit back with a glass of wine or hot cocoa and enjoy the fun and silliness and yes the somewhat predictable Christmas movie love fest.
Holiday Movies To Watch Right Now On Netflix
Love Hard
An LA girl, unlucky in love, falls for an East Coast guy on a dating app and decides to surprise him for the holidays, only to discover that she's been catfished. This lighthearted romantic comedy chronicles her attempt to reel in love.
This holiday rom-com encompasses all the typical elements and has just the right amount of cuteness and humor, and a little lesson on the perils of online dating. Sometimes people are not who they seem to be.
A Castle for Christmas
To escape a scandal, a bestselling author journeys to Scotland, where she falls in love with a castle - and faces off with the grumpy duke who owns it. - IMBD
It was great to see some familiar faces in this holiday romantic comedy. Think Blue Lagoon and The Princess Bride. Okay maybe that’s taking it back a little too far but you get my point. Holiday romance is not just for twenty-something-year-olds.
Operation Christmas Drop
Congressional aide Erica (Graham) forgoes family Christmas to travel at her boss's behest. At a beachside Air Force base, she clashes with Capt. Andrew Jantz (Ludwig), who knows her assignment is finding reasons to defund the facility. - IMBD
Set in the backdrop of real-life operations that help small pacific islands every year, this fictitious romance is a sweet reminder of the importance of generosity and the true Christmas spirit of giving.
The Holiday
Two women troubled with guy-problems swap homes in each other's countries, where they each meet a local guy and fall in love. - IMDB
The Holiday came out nearly fifteen years ago, but it’s still fun and relatable, in some ways, and perfect for this time of year.
A Snowbound Christmas
Marketing exec lands a spot on a big project but before the presentation, a snowstorm traps her and her boss at a resort where they realize there is more to their relationship than just business. - IMBD
I believe this originally appeared on Hallmark but nevertheless, this is a sweet, and family-friendly holiday movie.
A Christmas Prince
When a reporter goes undercover as a tutor to get the inside scoop on a playboy prince, she gets tangled in some royal intrigue and ends up finding love - but will she be able to keep up her lie? - IMDB
A Christmas Prince is great for the family to watch together. Very cheesy, and Disney-like but also sweet and heartwarming. It is actually a trilogy now, so you can also watch A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding and A Christmas Prince: A Royal Baby.
Holidate
Fed up with being single on holidays, two strangers agree to be each other's platonic plus-ones all year long, only to catch real feelings along the way. - IMDB
This was a surprisingly entertaining rom-com. This is funny and cute but it is not family-friendly due to language and content.
The Holiday Calendar
A struggling but talented photographer inherits an antique holiday advent calendar, the contents of which seem to predict the future. Will this magical calendar lead her to love this holiday season?
I love the magical elements added to this holiday story. This is another family-friendly Christmas movie that everyone can sit down together and watch.
Some of these are old and some of these are new but they are all perfect for this time of year to curl up on the couch and watch. Or to just enjoy as you wrap gifts or relax. I have watched them all and hope you give a couple or all of them a try too! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
Here's Your Fall 2021 Watch List For Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV
Fall is almost here. The weather will soon start cooling and the days will get shorter.
What to do when you just want to veg out on the couch or in bed? Binge-watch great shows are my suggestion. There are so many things to watch for sure. Too many choices almost, but I have six shows I recommend for this fall to keep you entertained as your fall hibernation begins.
My recommendations are See, Nine Perfect Strangers, Clickbait, Only Murders In The Building, and You. The shows can all be found on Apple TV, Hulu, and Netflix. Apple TV and Hulu release new episodes weekly but Netflix allows the full binge experience.
See Season 2
“Far in a dystopian future, the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, build, hunt, and to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins are born with sight.” - IMBD
There are now two great seasons of See to binge watch. Season 1 introduces us to Baba, his wife, and their sighted twin children. In a world where sight is looked upon as witchcraft and is illegal, Baba will do anything to protect his children.
Season 2 picks up right where season one left off, and that’s with a new enemy for Baba (Jason Momoa), his brother played by Dave Bautista. New episodes are available each Friday on Apple TV.
Nine Perfect Strangers
“Nine stressed city dwellers visit a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation. The resort's director is a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.” - IMDB
Nine Perfect Strangers is full of recognizable faces and names, which brings some comfort as you try to figure out where this story is trying to take you. I have to admit that after six episodes I still don’t know where this series is going but I don’t mind the journey.
New episodes premiere each Wednesday on Hulu.
Clickbait
When family man Nick Brewer is abducted in a crime with a sinister online twist, those closest to him race to uncover who is behind it and why.” - IMDB
With eight episodes total, Clickbait is completely binge-worthy. I literally binged this show in a day. With Netflix, they drop all episodes at once which is awesome! Each episode is centered around one particular character but with the goal of moving the story forward.
There are some issues with the plot for sure but at the end of the series, I was still happy I watched. And honestly, there are some takeaways and lessons to be learned as well. Clickbait can be viewed now on Netflix.
Only Murders In The Building
“Three strangers who share an obsession with true crime suddenly find themselves caught up in one.” - IMDB
Only Murders In The Building is undeniably quirky and weird, but of course, it would be with Steve Martin and Martin Short, but I am still invested in figuring out the whodunit of it all. There are actually two murders to solve, one from the past and one from the present.
I for one cannot wait to see how it all plays out. New episodes premiere each Wednesday on Hulu.
You Season 3
“A dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man goes to extreme measures to insert himself into the lives of those he is transfixed by.” - IMBD
The much anticipated season three of “You” premieres on Netflix on October 15th. So if you need a refresher or haven’t watched the previous two seasons, you have time.
Joe and Love are starting a new life together and it’s looking like there is someone new to obsess about. Who is the mystery lady we glimpsed at the end of season two? We shall see. I’m ready for it.
Truth Be Told
“A true-crime podcaster tries to solve the mystery surrounding a family patriarch's death.” - IMDB
Although season one of Truth Be Told premiered a couple of years ago, I only recently watched season one. I was instantly hooked, as I am a fan of true-crime podcasts and can relate to the intrigue they create. True crime stories bring out the sleuth in all of us.
Season 2 of Truth Be Told recently dropped with a new mystery to solve and this one is closer to home for the lead Poppy. New episodes premiere on Thursday on Apple TV.
I think I have given you all some great choices of shows to binge watch across several streaming services. They are not documentaries or going to change the world but they serve their purpose. They entertain. Please give one or all a watch and come back and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
How To Accept What You Cannot Control
One does not need to be a control freak in order to want to control most or all aspects of their life. Unfortunately, the reality is that there are many things in our lives we have no control over.
Accepting the fact that we cannot control certain situations or certain people, especially partners and children, can be challenging for some, to say the least. And frustrating and anxiety-inducing for others.
The easiest outlook to have is to just say “it is what it is” with situations beyond our control but of course that is always easier said than done. While the words may not work there are behaviors you can change that make having a lack of control more bearable.
Ways To Accept What You Can’t Control
Focus On What You Can Control
It is very easy to hyperfocus and stress over situations and people we cannot control. The fact is, we can only control ourselves, and sometimes we may not be able to even control what is happening to our own bodies.
Regardless of what the circumstance or situation is, there will be one element within your control, and that is your response to it. Focus on you. Focus on your mental and physical health which will get you through this challenging time.
Let It Go
As hard as it may be, sometimes the best thing you can do is just let it go. Let that stressful job go. Or let go of that toxic friendship that leaves you feeling like crap. And let go and accept that the man or woman you have been pining after for years will never return your love or love you the way you deserve.
Decompress
Whether it is hitting the gym, going for a run, or meditating, decompressing is key to coping with and accepting circumstances beyond your control.
What are your thoughts on accepting what you can’t control? Do you find it difficult or have you found techniques that work for you? Please share your thoughts and experience!
“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” ― Lao Tzu
Self-Love First For A Healthy Relationship
Self-love is about loving yourself, respecting yourself, and putting yourself first. Self-love is a hard concept for many, especially women, and even more so for mothers. Some might think that the concept of putting yourself first is selfish. People have a lot of opinions, myself included.
We spend so much time taking care of our loved ones. Whether you are taking care of your children, spouse, and or aging parents, it can be hard to remember to take care of yourself.
If your goal is to have healthy, loving relationships with others, including romantic ones, you need to start with self-love first. Here are some ways to show yourself and build a mentally and emotionally better you.
Ways To Give Yourself Some Love
Eat Healthily
You don’t have to deprive yourself of all the foods and drinks that you love to enjoy but there is something to be said about moderation. Fried foods and sugary foods and drinks can be addicting but can also make you feel like crap and cause health issues.
When you eat well you feel good.
Visit Your Doctor
Nobody loves going to the doctor. I mean, after all, the “white coat syndrome” exists for a reason. But regular checkups and physicals can literally save your life.
Going in for regular checkups with your doctor is important for preventative care and staying healthy. Prioritizing your health is an act of self-love.
Exercise
Exercise is great for you both mentally and physically. Exercise is not only a great way to stay fit and healthy, it is also a great tool for managing stress, and anxiety, and the everyday pressures put on you.
Exercising creates endorphins, which are feel-good hormones. When we exercise we feel happier and happy people are infectious.
Hang Out With Friends
Time spent with great friends is one of the best ways to spend your free time. Spending time with friends is a great stress reliever. Gives you time to share, vent, laugh, and bond.
Friends also provide you with a great support system and can be a nice distraction from some of the more unpleasant things in your life.
Enjoy “Me” Time
You deserve some “me” time. We all do. Your “me time” can be as busy or as lazy as you want it to be. It can be going on a road trip by yourself, sitting and reading quietly, or going to a salon to get your hair or nails done.
The point of “me time” is that it is about you. The focus is you and what makes you happy or what you find relaxing.
The bottom line Is to be kind to yourself. You deserve it. As the saying goes, “ If you cannot love yourself, how in the hell can you love somebody else.” Being a natural caretaker is wonderful but that should also include taking care of yourself because if you don’t, you will stress out or burn out.
What are your thoughts on self-love? What do you do to take care of yourself. Please share your thoughts and experience!

The Benefits of Collagen Supplements and Why I Love Them
Have you ever discovered something new and asked yourself how it was that you never knew about it before? That is how I felt when I first found out about the benefits of boosting collagen levels and collagen supplements, The purpose of this blog is to share how I have personally benefited from increasing my collagen levels and why I am now recommending it to you.
Collagen is a protein in our body. The collagen in your body helps maintain your bones, muscles, tendons, skin, and ligaments. Many consider collagen to be the glue in our bodies. Unfortunately, as we age, our bodies produce less collagen and our natural collagen levels decrease.
If you are looking for ways to reduce joint pain, grow your hair longer, and smooth out those fine lines on your face, you may want to give collagen supplements a try.
The Benefits Of Collagen Supplements
Joint Pain
Collagen is bountiful in the body, but as levels decrease as you age you may start to notice more joint aches and pains. As someone who has had multiple knee injuries and suffers from chronic knee pain, I noticed a significant reduction in pain in my knees and back when exercising and going up and down the stairs,
Skin
Collagen is a beauty secret for many women. Collagen supplements definitely benefit the skin but the changes are subtle at first so you really have to be looking to notice. Over time you will notice more supple, plump skin which will reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Collagen has helped give me a more youthful appearance and glow.
Hair and Nails
If you are struggling with brittle nails or dull hair that doesn’t seem to grow very fast collagen supplements may help you. Just a short time after increasing your collagen levels by supplements or food you will start to see the faster hair growth and longer, stronger nails.
How To Increase Your Collagens Level
There are several ways to increase your collagen levels. The first method, which is the preferred method is to just eat collagen-rich foods. Obviously, this is easier said than done for many, but not impossible if you make collagen-rich foods a priority in your diet.
Collagen Rich Foods
Collagen-rich foods include proteins, fruits, and veggies. But my number one got collagen-rich food is bone broth. You can buy bone broth, or make your own. I make my own bone broth and keep it in freezer-safe containers until ready to use when I want soup or as a flavorful addition to a sauce.
Other foods that include high collagen levels include citrus, berries, eggs, tomatoes, chicken, beans, and of course leafy greens. Replace a meal with a nice green salad with some fruit or beans and tomatoes on top, and wash it down with some citrus-infused water and you are well on your way to increasing your collagen intake and levels.
Collagen Powder
Collagen powder is a great way to increase your collagen levels and see great results in a short period of time. You can get collagen powders that are completely tasteless and you can add to your water, smoothies, or even food. I usually add a scoop to my morning coffee because I find that the powder dissolves much better in hot drinks than cold.
One downside with the powder, besides it not dissolving well, is that you may miss out on some of the collagen if you do not completely finish your beverage. I am currently using Vital Protein collagen and have seen great results.
Collagen Capsules
Collagen capsules work just as great as the powder but it comes down to a matter of preference. With collagen captures you will usually need to take at least six horse-sized pills daily to get your appropriate collagen dose and see results. But the good thing is that you will see results. My preferred brand for collagen capsules is Youth Theory.
Besides having to deal with the large capsules, collagen supplements may cause some gastrointestinal distress as you get used to taking them.
As I have aged and done lots of research on beauty and aging gracefully, I have learned the collagen was the best thing I never knew I needed. I recommend collagen supplements to family and friends because they work, but you will have to decide which brand works best for you. Whichever brand you choose, I recommend you give it at least 90 days to see results.
What are your thoughts on collagen supplements? If you take collagen supplements, do you prefer powder or capsules? Please share your results!
Is It Shaming or Attention-Seeking Behavior Gone Wrong?
A lot of crazy, sad, and surprising things have happened this year. There are big problems facing many people, from illness and death to job loss and financial ruin. The struggle is real, but so is online bullying and narcissistic behavior.
Social media plays a major part in many lives, especially for celebrities, those who want to be famous, and millennials. Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram can provide a great platform to share your talents, quirks, random thoughts, and smokin hot selfies, but what happens when the feedback from friends or strangers is less than flattering?
It’s no secret that celebrities are often bullied on social media, oftentimes for, well let’s be honest, just for being famous. Bullying is not cool at any age, whether you are five years old or fifty years old. Hurtful words hurt.
But my question is, is some of the rude or nasty backlashes some receive online easily avoidable? The term shaming is used for any negative comment received, often after your own online sharing of personal business.
Mom shaming and body shaming seem to be the most common forms of shaming I see online. You want to post pictures or videos of yourself breastfeeding, or using formula to feed your baby then have at it, but expect people to have an opinion because you opened that door.
Sure, the old adage “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all” always applies. But on the other end of the spectrum, to quote Mohedesa Najumi, “The woman who does not require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on the planet.”
Two Rules To Live By For Online Behavior
When it comes to social media there is are two schools of thought for me. The first is, your negative thoughts or opinion does not need to be posted to someone. We are all entitled to our opinions, but is it really necessary to tell someone that they are fat, ugly, talentless, or stupid? Probably not. No real purpose is served by cruel, although honest in your opinion, words that make people feel crappy.
The second thought and the biggest lesson of all is to expect criticism online. If you put your life on display, whether it’s vacation pics, relationship photos and intel, or sexy or shirtless pics, then you should expect to be scrutinized, and maybe have your feelings hurt.
Do you think your friends, family, and followers really want to see selfies of you every day? Maybe you are seeking validation in the form of compliments and likes, but not all responses will be flattering or what you want to hear.
I am of course not condoning saying hurtful things to strangers or anyone online, but I am realistic. Some may be jealous or just plain old mean, while others may find you annoying or a conceited braggart. With the Internet, a person can be as anonymous as they want to be, sitting at home behind their screen. You control what you put out there in the social media realm, but you cannot control how people react once it’s out there.
At the end of the day I say do what you want, but be prepared for the consequences. If you don’t share enough, then you are boring or elusive and will not get as many followers or likes. Share too much and you are a self-centered narcissist lacking in self-awareness and desperate for attention.
Sometimes there is no winning in the social media game, but it’s up to you to decide if you want to play or not.
What are your thoughts on online shaming and attention-seeking behavior? Do you think it’s okay to say whatever you want to people online who share their lives with the world? Are you a big sharer or do you keep it private? Please share your thoughts and experience!
5 Binge Worthy Shows To Stream In The New Year
Winter is now upon us and the quarantine and pandemic precautions continue for many of us around the world. As we stay inside to stay warm and to stay healthy, we need something to occupy our time. I am all about a good book, but I am also all about a great Netflix and Amazon Prime Video binge.
Here’s what worth a watch this new year on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
The Expanse
In the 24th century, a disparate band of antiheroes unravels a vast conspiracy that threatens the Solar System's fragile state of cold war.
The Expanse is one of my favorite shows and on December 16th the series is back for its fifth season. There are 10 episodes this season but unlike last season where all 10 episodes were dropped at once, only the first 3 episodes are available immediately and the rest will premiere each Wednesday. Although not a total binge for the current season, there are four other seasons to catch up on.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4
As her 16th birthday nears, Sabrina must choose between the witch world of her family and the human world of her friends. Based on the Archie comic.
The fourth and final season of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns on December 31st. This is a fun, dark show that is sure to send some chills and thrills your way this winter.
Lucifer
Lucifer Morningstar has decided he's had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. He settles in Los Angeles - the City of Angels.
I came late to the Lucifer fandom. I never watched it on network television, but once it was recommended to me on Netflix I gave it a try and was lured in by Lucifer’s cheeky charm. The second half of season 5, part 2, is returning to Netflix soon, but until that time all 5 1/2 seasons are currently available for binging.
Bridgerton
Wealth, lust, and betrayal set in the backdrop of Regency-era England, seen through the eyes of the powerful Bridgerton family.
I am a sucker for a period piece and I love a great romance, especially Regency. Bridgerton is new from Shonda Rhimes and it’s based on Julia Quinn's novels with the popular anonymous gossip columnist Lady Whistledown. I read all of these books well over a decade ago, but never forgot them.
Watch the Bridgerton series bring Julia Quinn’s novels to life with a Shonda Rhimes twist on Netflix beginning December 25th.
The Boys
A group of vigilantes set out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers.
The Boys is an Amazon Prime Video original. If violence, sex, action, and foul language is your thing, then this is the show for you. One of the best lines and takeaways from this show is “don’t mistake nice for good”. Life lessons in the harshest way possible is what this show offers, in a fun, action-packed, kick-ass way.
Two seasons are currently available to watch. So binge-worthy!
All of the above shows are perfect for an anytime binge watch. You cannot go wrong with any of these so pick one to start watching. I do no think you will be disappointed.
The Benefits of Meditation
If you had told five years ago that someday daily meditation would be part of my life, I would have said you don’t know me very well. Yet here I am now, practicing meditation daily and finding peace in my heart and mind that I never thought possible.
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity - to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. - Wikipedia
The thought of meditation may sound silly to some, I know that’s how it sounded to me not too many years ago. But if you are someone who is finding yourself consistently stressed, tired, unhappy with life, or unable to focus, give daily meditation a try for a week and see if you still find it silly after giving it try.
The Basics of Meditating
The practice of meditation is simple and calming and can be done just about anywhere. The basics of meditation are finding a place to be able to sit quietly, close your eyes, and focus on your breathing.
When I meditate I like to have the lights low. I sit on the floor in a quiet room, with a small blanket under my tailbone, and with my legs in the crossed position. I close my eyes and take deep slow breaths, as I clear my mind.
When I first started meditating, I would do it for about five minutes, which honestly felt like forever. Now I meditate for twenty minutes or more and the time flies. I stand up from meditation and crawl into bed, completely relaxed, at peace, and ready to sleep.
The Benefits of Meditation
Relieves Stress
Life can be very stressful. Whether you are a student, a parent, or a boss, the demands on us in our daily lives can feel overwhelming. Just ten minutes, or three minutes if that’s all you have, can help bring calm, center you, and help you refocus your thoughts and reduce your stress level.
Helps With Sleep
I am an insomniac. I have struggled with sleep for years, which is why I choose to meditate before bedtime. Meditation is very calming and brings down your blood pressure, slows your heart rate, and gets your body ready for a good night’s rest if sleep is your goal.
Relaxing
Meditation is about quieting your mind and getting rid of all the brain chatter that prevents you from being able to decompress and relax. When you center yourself, focus on your breathing, and shutout all those other thoughts, you will feel your body soften as you began to relax.
Helps You Focus
Meditation promotes thoughtfulness. If you have a project or an important event coming up, meditation will help you clear your mind and focus. As you close your eyes and quiet your mind, breathe slowly as you allow your mind to gently focus on the specific topic.
Brings You Peace
The practice of meditation can clear both your head and your heart. When you are able to clear your heart and mind, you are able to make space for love, gratitude, and peace.
I am by no means a meditation expert or Zen master, but I can speak to how meditation has changed my spirit, how it has changed my stress levels, and how it has changed my life for the better. I work on my Zen daily and focus on inner peace.
What are your thoughts on meditation? Do you practice meditation? If so, how does it benefit you? Please share your thoughts and experience with meditation!
What To Do Before Before Your Peloton Arrives
Once you make the big decision to purchase your Peloton, it can feel like an eternity waiting for it to arrive. The Peloton bike is more popular than ever before since the pandemic struck, keeping many of us at home and closing down gyms.
Searching for workout alternatives led many, including me, to the pricey yet perfect option of the Peloton bike. While you anxiously wait to meet your beautiful machine, there are many things to do in the meantime in preparation and to get your body moving.
Create Your Home Gym Space
One of the things that make the Peloton bike perfect for your home gym is the fact that it does not take up a lot of space. The Peloton bike is five feet long and two feet wide, so it is essentially perfect for tucking into a small space if that is all you have.
I suggest, if you have the room, that you bring in a mat for your bike and yoga mat for workouts. Also, consider adding space for free weights to the area, as well as storage for resistance bands, workout towels, and storage for your cycling shoes.
Download Peloton App
Once you purchase your bike, you are immediately given access to the Pelton app and all of the workouts. You will need to set up your account. You need to select your profile user name and password and start getting familiar with the app on your phone, tablet, or by utilizing your online account.
Your user name can be as unique as you want it to be, and once set up, you can search for any friends you have on Peloton as well. Follow friends or other Peloton members to get inspired or motivated.
Work Out With Peloton
Just because you don’t have your bike yet that doesn’t mean you can’t get your fitness on. Peloton offers just as many workouts off the bike as they do on the bike, and no matter your age, your interests, or fitness level, there is something for everyone.
Peleton offers breakout workouts for strength training, yoga, meditation, stretching, boot camps, and cardio. The cardio breaks out further into HIIT, outdoor running, outdoor walking, barre, and dancing. You also have the option of taking live classes or recorded classes so you can take your favorite classes over and over again.
Get Familiar With The Trainers
Every trainer brings a different vibe and personality to their class and you want to find the vibe that suits you best. So far I have found that all the Peloton trainers are great, but my standout favorites are Chelsea Jackson Roberts and Robin Arzon. Of course, I’m still new to Peloton so I’m sure as I take more classes I will find that other trainers bring out my best as well.
Are you excited about a future with a Peloton bike? I know the price is high so if that is a concern, you can go with the classic bike which is $1895, with monthly payments option of just $49. Or you can choose the Peloton Bike + which is priced at $2495, with a monthly payment option of $64 monthly. I highly recommend it, it will change your life. Use my Referral Code JXDMTG today to save $100 when you purchase your Peloton.
